Nowadays, the changes
that are taking place in the way of life are remarkable. The pace of everyday
life has increased and the way in which different foods are consumed has
changed, with consumers showing a particular preference for small and easily
maintainable packaging.
Today there is an
increased interest from consumers for foods that in addition to nutritional
organoleptic characteristics offer special health benefits. These requirements
combined with the constant awareness of how diet affects the health and desire
of consumers for a better standard of living, created in the market the need
for healthy snacks.
It is known that table olives are food of high
nutritional value and contain a very high percentage of unsaturated fatty
acids, oleic acid, palmitic acid, linoleic, etc., while many of the fermenting
microorganisms contained in olives have probiotic properties.
The creation of
innovative products in impressive packages is moving in this direction. A
variety of flavor combinations in “snack” type packages, without
brine, without preservatives, with a modified atmosphere that retains the
organoleptic characteristics – the taste, aroma and texture of the small
doypack bags and pillow bags are now available everywhere. A decade ago, no one
could have imagined that in their available options for a healthy, snack would
be small bags containing delicious olives.
For a decade now, the
company AGROSPARTA has been providing high quality products worldwide in a
variety of packages, always respecting the requirements of the market and the
consumers needs. Approaching these new needs and adapting to market trends and
in the context of continuous improvement, evolution and development of new
innovative products, AGROSPARTA presents to the public the new acquisition of
the company, the packaging machine of the doypacks and pillow bags.
In modified atmosphere
packaging (MAP packaging) the ambient air inside the packaging is replaced by a
product-adapted gas mixture to maintain the shape, color and freshness of the
product. The modified atmosphere usually consists of carbon dioxide, nitrogen
and oxygen.
The main advantage of
packaging in a modified atmosphere is to ensure the longer life of the product.
In addition, the quality of the product is ensured, the use of gases in the
packaging avoids enzymatic and biochemical alteration, as well as avoiding the
growth of bacteria. This means that the taste of the product remains unchanged
and the need to use additional chemicals and preservatives is eliminated.
